The taste is actully quite acceptable (or you can talk yourself into believing it) and after chewing the piece for a while you can spit the fibrose residues out. It was an unforgetable experience and I would never believe it is posible to throw up 10 times in 30 minutes each of the times emptying my stomach completely and eating nothing between the performaces.Īnyway, based on the info from people who tried I believe the very best is a small amount of ginger in its raw vegitable form. I can't say from a persoal experience, being one of the lucky bastards who wouldn't know what motion sickness is - if there wasn't for that episode when the inboard engine on my boat stopped on a rough sea and I had to go inside and try to fix it what involved being bent over that thing for some time. I used to get airsick when doing aerobatics in light aircraft in my youth. Or is what you are talking about in a 'health' pill form? When you say using ginger can help air sickness would that mean I should eat those chocolate-covered ginger candies, because I like them. Posted: Sat 0:51 UTC Post subject: RE: G-force sickness Training is important and the progress with practice is usually clearly detectable. Tightening of legs and stomach musles just at the begining of the high-g manouver can pospond the onset of blackout significantly. Physical fitness and conscious work with certan muscles can also help a lot. The main problem is, the squizing is continuous and can cause problems during longer flights. A tight pair of pantyhose can do the job quite well. You are not far off with the anti-g suit. The only way to prevent/reduce it is to stop blood flowing to the lower parts of your body. The mechanics of g induced blackout is simple: deprivation of blood supply to the brain. With gs there is no point trying some chemial solutions. A matter of trial and error for most people. There was a lot of talks about air sickness and besides of some drugs ginger seem to be coming out as the best natural cure/prevention. Neither of them has to be related to age thoug. Is there any way to get over g-sickness/motion sickness or am I just going to have to fly my paraglider right-way-up as I get older? I greyed-out on one spiral dive - maybe I need a G-suit? I am not young and as an ex-pilot I know that we get g-intolerant with age. I only have to do 3 spiral dives and I feel less than well. I live in England so acro is pretty much out but I love throwing the wing around, especially low down.
